Akrotiri
The first destination of our tour is Akrotiri Archaeological Site which is one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. It is a prehistoric city of Minoans, founded about 4000 years ago. Luckily, the ash has preserved structures that allow the visitor to experience this specific wonder of antiquity.
Red beach
We continue our tour by going to the famous Red Beach where you can see and feel the crystal water while the view will blow your mind.
Megalochori
Next destination is Megalochori, a traditional village where an original cave is waiting for us to experience the way that locals used to live in there.
Perivolos
Then we will head to the black beach at Perivolos where you can discover a new feeling from the volcanic soil.
Profitis Ilias
And we will close our tour at the highest point of the island, Mountain Profitis Ilias, where the historical Monastery is located at 2000 feet since 1711. The place that you feel free and peaceful. It offers 360° view of all the island and if we are lucky we can also see the nearby ones.
Lunch break
Please keep in mind that if anytime during our tour you feel hungry there will always be a place in our schedule to grab something to eat. Otherwise you can incorporate a lunch at a local restaurant, off the main towns of Santorini, to taste and experience traditional food.
